| Observação: Palm solitary with 3 - 6 cm trunk. Leaves 8 in crown spirally arranged and spreading. Leaf sheath plus petiole is 31 - 36 + cm long with a leaf petiole 1,5 cm wide and 1 cm thick and a fibrous leaf sheath, adaxially channeled and abaxially rounded. Leaf rachis 102 cm long. 68 pairs of leaflets wich are distributed in clusters of 2 - 4 along the rachisin various planes. Basal leaflets 16 cm long x 0,2 cm wide, middle leaflets 37 cm long x 1,5 cm wide, and apical leaflets 12 cm long x 1 cm wide. androgynous inflorescence with 16 + to 20 cm long, 0,8 - 1 cm wide and 0,5 - 0,6 cm thick peduncle and 17 - 20 cm long rachis.
